It is designed to provide maximum protection from UV rays and a high degree of water resistance. It is constructed from a solution dyed WeatherMax SL fabric. This fabric is woven from double 150 denier yarns in both the machine and cross direction, giving it the ultimate strength. Since each yarn is a solid color rather than being surface dyed, the fabric is also very fade resistant.
Covercraft also gives the Ultratect car covers a highly water repellant finish of HydroMax on both sides to increase water repellency. The Hydromax finish helps protect against rain, bird droppings, and dust. Ultratect car covers give you the best combination of breathability, water-repellency, and fade protection under prolonged exposure to the sun or other harsh elements. Each cover will have built-in urethane elastic that is sewn into the front and rear hems for easy installation. At the bottom of the cover, there will be reinforced non-scratch grommets to protect your paint. The seams all use overlapped double-needled stitching for extra durability. The cover is available in 4 different color options: grey, tan, black, and blue. This product has a five-year warranty, and is machine wash friendly.
